I'm the son of Thai immigrants: My father is a urologist and my mom an OB/GYN. Between mom's violently spicy dishes and dad's shop-talk ("Did you know I had to sew someone's pee-pee back on today?") I didn't eat much growing up. Then I moved to New York, and discovered that continents other than Asia had their own cuisines. I hope one day to eat them all. The füd, not the continents. I became a magistrate because I'm generous with tips, and because my robe makes me look taller than I am.
